The Brow Wood Collection

The architecturally-designed homes in The Brow Wood Collection are the perfect choice for those who desire to downsize, yet still remain in the comfort of a single family home. Each home, situated on one of our 70’ wide brow view lots offers one level, open, living with high ceilings, beautiful custom finishes, hardwood flooring, granite countertops, generous doorways, and baths, plus a private two-car garage. Choose from several unique floor plans that have the flexibility of expansion to a second level. Homes built on a brow view lots must be 1600-2400 sq. ft. with a minimum of 1600 sq. ft. on the first floor. Prices vary from $365,000 to $450,000, including the building site. All homes meet Brow Wood architectural guidelines.

Townhomes

The townhome community within Brow Wood offers one-level, open-living floor plans with the same high-quality finishes and amenities as the homes in The Brow Wood Collection.

Two clusters of four townhomes will occupy spectacular brow and brow home sites. A two-home unit will be built on a corner brow lot. Prices vary from $364,000 to $449,000. Select from our available, community specific home plans and choose from an array of custom options and finishes that fit your own distinctive style and taste. Options for expansion or additional personalization are available at an additional charge.

Sites

The Western Brow

Twenty-five custom brow lots and 25 brow-view lots, nestled along a meandering mountain road. A winding path gives all residents access to amenities such as a brow-front pavilion with commanding views, beautiful pond, and gardening plots. Brow lots range from $152,400 to $203,100. Brow-view lots (just off the Brow) range from $80,000 – $89,000.

The Eastern Woodlands

A “front porch” neighborhood of 47 cottage lots with streets designed for walkability, and integrated green spaces. Connected to park spaces, the town green, lake, and future amenities including a pavilion, retail areas and Assisted Living.

Custom Homes

Brow Wood offers a select team of recommended custom builders for those who desire to participate more fully in the home building process. All builders bring to the Brow Wood team years of experience with reputations for building high quality homes at a great value as well as offering superior customer service. The Brow Wood development team believes that the process from home site selection to home completion should be a positive experience for our residents. Our builders are dedicated to that same end.

The neighborhood is being designed as master-planned community with oversight to ensure that construction of all community features and individual residences meet Brow Wood’s architectural guidelines and Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions. Custom homes built on brow lots must be 2400-3600 sq. ft. with a minimum of 1800 sq. ft. on the first floor. Homes built on brow-view lots must be 1600-2400 sq. ft. with a minimum of 1600 sq. ft. on the first floor.

All proposed construction will be evaluated by a design review committee to maintain high aesthetic standards and durability. All proposed construction will also adhere to Universal Design principles to ensure that homes and community features are designed for use by all, regardless of ability.

Reasonable agreements regarding design and construction of individual residences will enhance the value of all properties, for generations to come.

Home Health Care

While Brow Wood is designed as a low-maintenance community for active adults, it is also prepared for the health needs that senior years may bring.

Brow Wood will offer home health care to enable residents to stay in their own homes for the rest of their lives. Home health care will be available to all residents of Brow Wood on a fee-for-service basis and includes food, nursing, and therapy services.

At every level of health care need, trained, caring staff will provide custom assistance with daily living activities, helping to preserve and enjoy quality of life.

Independent Living

For those who want to live independently, but no longer wish to own a home, the Brow Wood master plan includes monthly-rental townhomes. The homes, located on the Woodlands side of Brow Wood, are across the lane from Assisted Living, and will be designed for those needing a temporary place to live.

The Assisted Living staff will offer home health care on a fee-for-service basis.

Assisted Living

For those who are unable to stay in their own homes, Brow Wood will offer Assisted Living. Brow Wood Assisted Living will be a 48-room facility with nursing care, including fourteen rooms for memory care. This will be the only facility of its type in the surrounding nine zip-code area. There is no entry fee, but priority will be given to qualified property owners
of Brow Wood.

The Assisted Living facility will offer three meals a day, nursing care, physical therapy, the latest health care technology, and a host of activities. Brow Wood will offer round-the-clock care by a staff dedicated to giving personal attention and care to each resident.

Erlanger Medical Center, Memorial Hospital, and Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga provide specialists and expertise. Additionally, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Emory University Hospital and University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital are all within a three-hour drive.

Brow Wood Assisted Living has an agreement with Thrive Senior Living to operate the facility. Thrive has secured a letter of commitment from a local bank and is in the process of raising the remaining equity required for the $10 million complex. Thrive expects construction to begin in early 2013.
